I'm a little nervous because there has been a limited amount of interest so far. Lots of competition for writers, I guess, and steampunk fantasy isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Where all have you advertised? You might consider musemostwanted too. Most of the people I know who RP are all pretty busy with RL right now so I don't know of anybody ready to pick up another game, unfortunately.

It looks like the rules for that comm preclude game advertisements, though if everything gets off the ground, it would be a good resource for players looking for people to play interesting characters from their backstory or the like.

They did have some valid points about formatting and style, etc. And tbf, I did put the ad in the wrong thread.

I do think there's a general lack of interest in this genre of game, especially since it requires a certain number of people to sustain it (at least, the political intrigue part) so, if nothing else, it may not get off the ground simply because there aren't enough people.

Ugh. I think it's a pretty interesting game idea, personally but yeah...OC games can be a hard sell, unfortunately. :(
